| Description: | CGI Motorsports ( http://www.cgimotorsports.com ) holds multiple driver events at Gingerman Raceway ( http://www.gingermanraceway.com ). These DEs are a bit unusual since they have seven 20-minute sessions, giving over two hours of track time. The cost is $225 per driver. NOTE: This event is the one coordinated with BMW CCA. The travel time from our area to Gingerman is about four hours one way whether we drive or take the ferry, and since taking the ferry adds $109 (one way) or $203 (round trip) it's not recommended. The return ferry trip is also quite late. Our standard plan is to drive down on Sunday and stay overnight at a hotel. There is a CGI rate at the Ramada Inn of $65 for the evening ( http://www.ramada.com/Ramada/control/Booking/property_info?propertyId=15473&brandInfo=RA&cid=id! ). Then after the DE on Monday we just drive back, arriving back somewhere about 9pm.
